On 24 May 2024, St Aloysius Gonzaga School held a Faculty Induction Programme for its newly appointed teachers. The day commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome from the Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ. He provided an overview of the school's legacy, vision, and mission. The second session was led by the Vice-principal, Ms Laurel D'Souza, who discussed the institution's work culture. She provided insights on how to effectively start a teaching career, the essentials of good teaching practices, record maintenance, and effective communication with parents. Ms Deepa Karkada, the coordinator for classes XI and XII, conducted the third session. She covered the CBSE curriculum, assessment patterns from Kindergarten to Class XII, and the integration of arts into the curriculum. The final session of the day was led by Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, who detailed the service rules and regulations of the school management. He introduced the objectives and key aspects of these rules to the staff members. The first day of the programme was both fruitful and informative for all the participants.
