The feast of our Patron - St Aloysius Gonzaga (Classes VI to XII)

The feast of St Aloysius Gonzaga was celebrated on 19 June, 2024 at St Aloysius Gonzaga School. Fr Avinash D’Souza SJ, Mangaluru was the main celebrant and Principal, Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ was the concelebrant of the Eucharistic Mass in St Aloysius Gonzaga Hall. The mass was attended by all catholic students and teachers.  A cultural programme was organized for the students of Classes VI to XII on 20 June, 2024. Fr Anthony Derrick SJ, Mangaluru was the Chief Guest of the programme. The programme commenced by invoking God's blessing through a prayer song, followed by the significance of the day, special song and a classical dance. A skit was performed on 'forgiveness' which was applauded by all. The Chief Guest Fr Anthony Derrick SJ, Campus Minister and Lecturer, St Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru gave message to the students emphasizing on three 'E's - Endure, Encounter and Engage and how to implement those qualities in our daily life.The Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his address highlighted upon three qualities of St Aloysius Gonzaga’s life - Single minded devotion to God, Excellence in everything and Saint's involvement with people in helping them. Amra Fathima of Class VIIA welcomed the gathering and Aster Naomi Aarons of Class VIIIA proposed the vote of thanks. The significance of the day was delivered by Ancika Pinto of Class IXA. The programme was compered by Imaan Hussain Ananth and Khatija Liyana of Class VIII A. Ms Acquina Rebello, Ms Sharina Lobo, Ms Sylvia Amanna and Ms Vijayalakshmi were the programme coordinators.
