To help the tiny tots understand the importance and the joy of celebrating festivals at school, St Aloysius Gonzaga School organised Eid- al-Adha (Bakrid) for the students of Kindergarten on Thursday, 20 June 2024.  The program started with a prayer song. Hannah Menezes of KG II A welcomed the gathering. To know more about this holy festival, Maahira Maryam of KG I B enlightened us with the significance of Bakrid. Few students of Pre KG, KG I and KG II came dressed in the traditional attire and demonstrated the practice of greeting one another by hugging and wishing each other 'Eid Mubarak'. This helped the students to instil the universal values of brotherhood and compassion. The program concluded with a short message from the Principal who stated that Bakrid upholds the values of sacrifice, peace and universal brotherhood. He also asked the students to wish each other 'Eid Mubarak '.  The spirit of Eid was well imbibed by the students and the festivity came to an end with feelings of unity, brotherhood and love.
