The school conducts assessment of students as per the CBSE guidelines and the curriculum issued at the beginning of every academic year
I. Assessment for class I to V:
The assessment of students of class I to V is based on term-wise system. There are two Terms in an academic year. Students are assessed based on their performance in both the terms. Each term has two components – internal component and term exam. The internal component consists of Periodic Test, Subject Enrichment Activity, and Notebook. Assessment is done both on scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
II. Assessment for class VI – X
The assessment structure and examination for Classes VI to X is based on the Annual Scheme as per the CBSE norms. According to it the assessment consists of 20 marks internal assessment and 80 marks for annual written examination. Internal assessment of 20 marks are obtained from 4 components: Three Periodic tests (5 marks), Multiple Assessments (5 marks), Subject Enrichment Activities (5 marks) and Portfolio (5 marks). The School also assess the co-scholastic areas.
III. Assessment for class XI – XII
The assessment structure and examination for Classes XI and XII is based on the Annual scheme as per the CBSE norms. According to it the assessment consists of 20 marks internal assessment for English and Mathematics and 80 marks for annual written examination whereas 30 marks practical exam for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science and 70 marks for annual written examination. The school also asses the co-scholastic areas such as: Health and Physical Education, SEWA/Work Experience and General Studies.
