1. International School Award 2013- 16 by British Council :
It was indeed an exciting moment for St Aloysius Gonzaga School to receive the prestigious British Council’s International School Accreditation for the period 2013 to 2016. A new school with just 83 students from class I to V, with a team of 8 teachers, took up as a challenge the inclusion of 7 fascinating topics with international dimension, embedded them into the regular curriculum, and won the coveted award! It was quite an achievement for the budding school, and boosted the confidence of management and staff alike, to foster internationalism in the regular curriculum.
2. International School Award 2016-19 by British Council :
Exhilarated by the global experience of the first award, the School continued to work for the second accreditation. And what a proud moment it was for St Aloysius Gonzaga School to receive the International School Accreditation once again, in December 2015, from the hands of Ms Ciarene Devane, Chief Executive of British Council, in an august gathering of school representatives from all over the country! This award confirms our belief in practising what we preach. It further confirms our conviction that Jesuit education is not merely confined to the four walls of the classroom, but is a continuous effort to mould our pupils to face the challenges of the 21st Century. We prepare them to be global citizens willing to be moulded as men and women for and with others.

It is a proud achievement for the School to win this award within a short span of 6 years from its inception.
4. International School Award 2022-25 by British Council
Having been inspired by the British Council’s International School Accreditation, twice for the period 2013-16 and 2016-19, the school was committed to embedding international awareness and global citizenship within the school’s culture. In 2019, it was the right time for the school to apply for the third level of the British Council’s Accreditation for International Dimension in Schools (IDS certification). Though the unfortunate outbreak of the pandemic delayed the execution of the projects by one year, the school received the prestigious British Council’s IDS certification (which was earlier known as the ISA award) for the period 2022-25. Students from Kindergarten to class IX enjoyed working on these projects throughout the academic year 2021-22 and got an opportunity to collaborate with countries; Italy, Romania and Bangladesh. Working on these projects improved their skills in, collaborative research and presentation techniques, developing critical thinking, understanding the topics with a global dimension and enhanced literacy and communication skills as well. The certification was announced during an online event on 23 March 2022 in which around 150 schools were present from all over the country. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, coordinator Aparna Suresh and Deepthi Sahana Karkada participated in this event, which was indeed a proud moment for the school. With this certification, the school is upgraded to the third level of International Dimension in the curriculum, specified by the British Council.
