St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized ATL Community Day programme on 28 February 2023, to broaden the horizons of knowledge and skills of Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) activities beyond our school. We invited six neighbouring schools to take part in the hands-on experience of learning through innovation on the topic Sensor and its technology. Five students from each school actively participated in this programme and got a platform to experience the skills and technologies in the field of Sensor. The six schools who participated were as follows:

The programme began with a prayer song, followed by lighting of the lamp by Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, Vice-principal Ms Laurel Dsouza, ATL Instructor Mr Manoj, ATL Teacher in-charge Ms Deepa Karkada and a teacher and student representative from one of the neighbouring Schools. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his address, encouraged the students to learn by practical methods that involves exploring many more innovative skills that could help in solving various challenges of the society. The students of the neighbouring schools were awarded with a participation certificate and were enriched with the knowledge of sensor technology. The programme was coordinated by Ms Deepa Karkada and Ms Swathi.
