St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated its Decennial Annual Day for classes VI to XI on Tuesday, 20th December 2022, with the theme 'Education for Transformation - A journey of a decade'. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Provincial, Karnataka Jesuit Province was the Chief Guest, and Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions was the President of the function. Ms Grace Noronha, Founder Principal and Fr Denzil Lobo SJ, Former Rector and Initiator of the new school building were the Guests of Honour. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, Vice-principal Ms Laurel D Souza, PTA Vice-president Mr Abhilash Dominic, Head Girl Hannan Fathima Habeeb and Head Boy Aaron D'Souza were among the other dignitaries present for the program.

The Chief Guest Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, in his address feeling gratitude, expressed how in a short span St Aloysius Gonzaga School has become a wonder. He mentioned that Jesuit Education is always for transformation and the school stands for 21^st-century skills through various teaching-learning activities. He spoke on adolescent problems and gave a call to parents to help their ward discover their potential by giving them the roots of responsibility and wings of freedom.

Guest of honour, Fr Denzil Lobo SJ, Former Rector and Initiator of New School Building in his address congratulated and thanked all those who contributed towards the phenomenal growth of this institution and asked the students to reflect on 'Whether education is all about earning certificates or is it much more than that?'

Guest of honour, Ms Grace Noronha, Founder Principal of St Aloysius Gonzaga School said, "I always cherished my being here as the founding principal of this institution”. She further added, the school adheres to the motto of Jesuit institutions Lucet et Ardet following the 4 Cs of Jesuit education i.e., Competence, Conscience, Compassion, and Commitment and appreciated the Jesuit education.  

The journey of a decade of the school was presented through a video, featuring the inception, growth and saga of 10 years. Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ presented the annual report 2022-23.

Class X toppers of the academic year 2021-22 and meritorious students were awarded for excellence in academics. The dignitaries felicitated the Initiator of the new school building Fr Denzil Lobo SJ, Founder Principal Ms Grace Noronha and teachers and support staff who had rendered their selfless service in these 10 years to the school. The contribution of the former managers of the school Fr Elvis Lewis SJ, Fr Joseph D Souza SJ, Fr Ivan Mendonca SJ and Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ towards the development of the school was highlighted in a thankful note.

Vice-principal and Convenor of the program Ms Laurel Dsouza welcomed the gathering, Ms Deepthi Karkada also the Convenor of the program proposed the vote of thanks, Master Carlton Nash Rodrigues X C and Ms Aamna Jameel Saroash XB compered the formal event.

Thereafter various dances and dramas were performed as a part of the Cultural event. The well-articulated and fluent master of ceremonies compered the cultural program.
