“Children are special, valued and important” said the Principal, Fr. Melwyn Anil Lobo S. J in his message on the occasion of Children’s Day celebration on 14th November, 2022. He also added the Right for Children, citing the three P’s: right to protection, right to provision and right to participation.
Children's Day was celebrated with great joy, zeal, and splendour. Teachers performed a variety of entertaining activities for the students to brighten and make their day memorable, such as shadow play, special song, dances, skits, solo performances etc. The students were thrilled to watch their Principal and Vice-principal to be a part of the entertainment programme. The school head boy Aaron Dsouza and the head girl Hannan Fathima Habeeb were the Chief Guests of the programme and expressed their views on Children’s Day saying “Childhood is the best phase in one’s life and it’s important to cherish these days. We as children must fulfill the Nehru Ji’s dream for a better society by helping others in need.”
Ms Lorina Ivy Dsouza explained the significance of the day. Ms Aparna Suresh welcomed the gathering, Ms Rashmi compered the programme and Ms Shruthi Kishor Poojary proposed the vote of thanks. The Vice-principal, Ms Laurel DSouza and the Parent Teacher Executive Committee members were also present on the occasion. Refreshments were distributed to enhance the joy of students.
