Love for God and Love for Nature

The activities under the ‘Bunny Movement’ commenced enthusiastically from the II term in October 2022. The first topic under Bunny Movement, Love for God, was held on 14 October 2022. The tiny tots were excited to wear the Bunny Apron on Saturday morning. They were assembled in the school premises for a special morning assembly, which was graced by the Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ. The session began with the prayer song of ‘Bunny Movement’, Dayakar Daan Bhakti Ka…., followed by a hymn. Students performed warm-up exercises, and mass drills as a part of physical development activity. Different rhymes/songs sung by the teacher were repeated by the students. The Principal addressed the kindergarteners and encouraged them to develop a love for God and nature, in their daily life. A colouring activity on the theme was given which the students enjoyed with their peers. Vice-principal Ms Laurel D Souza and Kindergarten coordinator Ms Aparna Suresh were present during the assembly. The second topic “Love for Nature” was held on 22 October 2022. After the morning assembly, the smart bunnies were taken for a nature walk. They observed the plants and trees in the campus. The activity to water the plants in the garden helped them to connect with nature. They also coloured a picture on the theme.
