International Yoga Day is observed every year on 21 June to raise awareness about this ancient practice and to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess that Yoga has brought to the world. Yoga is a form of exercise that originated in ancient India and is practiced widely across the world today. Yoga not only enhances one’s physical strength but also contributes largely towards our mental health and spiritual growth. Yoga being the regular part of the curriculum, students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School practice Yoga postures on regular basis. On 21 June 2022, St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated International Yoga Day zestfully. A special presentation on the relevance of yoga was given by the Yoga instructor for students of class III to XI and most of the students participated in the mass yoga practice.
