Glimpse of Class VIII Field Trip

“Building curiosity and creativity outside the classroom." Recognizing the importance of such experiences, St Aloysius Gonzaga School, organized a field trip for Class VIII students on 30 January 2024 to Dharmasthala.

The day commenced at 8:30 am after the assembly, as the enthusiastic group left the school premises. The primary destination was the Car Museum showcasing vintage cars and followed by museum at Dharmastala. The students learnt about different types of transport system and how the changes have taken place from past to present. Next, we visited Manjusha Museum is situated in the holy town of Dharmasthala. It houses a good collection of objects, antiques, paintings, artifacts, temple chariots, vintage and classic cars. These were collected from temples across Karnataka.The students had an opportunity to visit Mr.Levin’s Farm and Engineering works. The students also got to interact with the drone scientists who had come there for their research work on sprinkling pesticides using drone.

The different places visited not only offered academic insights but also contributed to the students' cultural, historical, and environmental awareness. The return to school at 5:30 pm marked the end of a day filled with adventure and discovery. A total of 101 students, accompanied by 4 teaching staff were a part of this journey.
