St Aloysius Gonzaga School was honored to host distinguished guests from Italy on 16 January 2024. The esteemed visitors included Ms Silvana Rizzi, Mr Alberto Pessani who visited the school regularly since 2013, accompanied by Mr Simone Tangorra and Ms Cristina Modolo. The visitors were warmly welcomed by the Principal and staff and greeted with a short program organized by students from Classes VI to VIII. During the event, a presentation highlighting collaborative activities undertaken by the school was showcased through a PowerPoint presentation. Students entertained the guests with a fusion of Italian and Indian song. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo emphasized the importance of global citizenship and international collaboration in his address. Ms Silvana, in her interactions with students, commended the diverse culture of India. Mr Simone shared his perspective, expressing confidence in India's youth potential and foreseeing the country as a future global superpower. Ms Aparna Suresh coordinated the programme.
