St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated its 12th Annual Day for Pre KG to Class II on 14 December 2023, with the theme 'Samanvay-Bridging Cultures'. Ms Roopa Baliga Managing Director and Principal of Treehouse Mangalore was the Chief Guest, Rector of St.Aloysius Institutions Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ presided over the function.
The Chief Guest Ms Roopa Baliga, in her address feeling gratitude, expressed how St.Aloysius Gonzaga School holds a special place in her heart as the young ones they nurture at Treehouse Play School, undergo a seamless transition in St Aloysius Gonzaga School where they are further nurtured. She urged the parents to let the children dream big and provide them with moral values, integrity of character and a good education so that they can bloom into confident human beings.
President of the programme Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, Rector of St.Aloysius Institutions in his address stated that everything has to be shared & we have to live in harmony with one another. He added we need to build people who not only think about themselves but also about society.
The Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ presented the annual report 2023-24 showcasing all the activities & events that took place from December 2022 to November 2023.
Classes I & II toppers of the Academic Year 2022-23 were awarded for excellence in academics.
Thereafter various dances and a skit were performed as a part of the cultural event.
Vice-principals Ms Laurel D’souza & Ms Aparna Suresh, PTA Vice-president Mr Abhilash Dominic, Programme Coordinators Ms Deepa Karkada & Ms Preethan Pereira were the other dignitaries present for the program.
Vice-principal Ms Aparna Suresh welcomed the gathering, Ms Deepa Sequeira proposed the vote of thanks.
Aiden D Souza of Class IA and Kavya Dilesh Dattani of Class II B compered the formal event.. Julian Henry Mathias of Class II D, Vedya Santhosh Kamath of Class II B, Anvi Sai Kudva Class II C and Ms Naomika R Shetty of class I C compered the cultural event.
