St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized Social Science Week with the theme, " WALK TO THE WORLD OF WONDERS”, from 16 to 25 November 2023. The school conducted various activities, nurturing creativity and critical thinking which included colouring, picture collection. collage, poster, and brochure making, reciting the preamble, chart making and memorizing Indian states and their capitals. On 6 December 2023, Classes I to V celebrated the culmination of Social Science Week, followed by Classes VI to IX on 9 December 2023. Ms Avani P of Class V, Ms Risha Lasrado of Class VIII and Ms Poorvi Pavuskar of Class VII emphasized the significance of Social Science Week. A captivating video with glimpses of the activities conducted was presented during the culmination. Principal Father Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ addressed the gathering, highlighting how understanding the pitfalls of the past can guide students towards becoming more responsible and enlightened citizens.The program was skillfully compered by Ms Rebecca Thangam of Class V and Master Christopher Nazareth of Class IX. The programme was coordinated by the Social Science teachers.
