To commemorate the importance and popularity of Hindi language throughout the nation, St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized Hindi Saptah (Hindi Week) from 11 to 16 September 2023. The school celebrated the Hindi week with the theme “Hindi hai sadaa bahar, ektha ka sajag upahaar”. Students from KG-II to Class X took active part in various activities such as, Artistic Letters, Days of the Week, Completing the Story, Post Card Writing, Comic Strip, Advertisement Writing etc. During the week, importance of Hindi Language and notable Hindi Writers and Poets were introduced to the students in the morning assembly. The importance of Hindi Diwas was highlighted on 14 September.
The culmination of Hindi Week was organized on 25 and 26 September for Primary and Secondary students respectively. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo in his address highlighted the importance of Hindi Language. He encouraged to students watch Hindi Programmes and read Hindi Books.
