St Aloysius Gonzaga School organised a Faculty Induction Programme for the new teaching faculty on 22 May 2023 in the school auditorium.
Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ welcomed all the new staff and started the first session on legacy, vision and mission of the Institution. Principal conducted an activity for self- introduction and highlighted the aspect of why we are a teacher. Then he spoke on the Legacy, Vision, mission and aim of the Institution.
The second session was taken by vice-principal Ms Laurel D’souza on work culture of the Institution. She explained how to give a good start being a teacher, then she briefed about good teaching, Blackboard work, maintaining records and how to address the parents.
The third Session was taken by Ms Deepa Karkada coordinator of class XI and XII.This session was on CBSE curriculum & assessment pattern. She gave a clear information regarding assessment scheme beginning from kindergarten to class XII.
The fourth Session was by Fr Felix Victor SJ on awareness of POCSO Act. Principal introduced and welcomed the resource person and also highlighted few aspects on POCSO Act. Fr.Felix briefed us about objectives & policy, main features of POSCO Act and gave a lot of insights about this Act.
This session was compered by Ms Tanuja and vote of thanks was given by Ms Divya.
The fifth Session was by conducted by Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ on service rules and regulations of the management. Principal began the session with introduction, objectives & amp; preliminaries and explained all the important rules & amp; regulations clearly to the staff members.
The Day 1 sessions were fruitful and informative to all the staff members.
