St Aloysius Gonzaga School reopened on 1 June 2023 for the new Academic Year 2023-24. The school held a special assembly to welcome the students of classes I to V. Program started with a short prayer service. Chief Guest of the day Fr Leo D Souza, Director, Bio-Technology Department, St Aloysius College, Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, Vice-principal Ms Aparna Suresh along with teacher representative and student representatives inaugurated the new Academic Year by lighting the lamp. Fr Leo D’Souza in his speech motivated the students by saying all god has given each of us is a little lamp. Lamp is in our heart, that lamp has to become brighter and brighter and spread the light everywhere.
There after Principal Fr. Melwyn Anil lobo appreciated students through his warm words for their presence on the first day. He conveyed his good wishes to all the new students, new staff and also, he congratulated the students of class X for their 100% result in CBSE Board exam.
Further, the Principal narrated short moral story for students and concluded the program by words of gratitude for the Chief Guest of the day Fr Leo D’souza.
