Class III Field Trip Report

On 9th of November 2022, class III students embarked on a field trip  to Pilikula Nisargadhama which aimed at being both educational and fun. 138 students along with 9 staff members journeyed to the destination after the school prayer. Vice Principal, Mrs Laurel DSouza addressed the students and wished them good time and safe journey. The students boarded the bus at 9:30 a.m.  At first the students were accompanied to Guttu House, the traditional manor house of the coastal landlords, that reflected the cultural heritage of coastalites. To understand the skills of different artisans, the students were guided to the Heritage Village. The students witnessed the beautiful handicrafts as they walked along the village. Next the students were mesmerized with the beauty, knowledge and wonders of the universe as they enjoyed watching the show at the Swami Vivekananda Planetarium. After which they headed towards the Science Museum – interactive Science Exhibition and free choice science learning activities. Besides the fun and frolic students gained a lot of information about the various species of animals and birds and their habitat at the Pilikula Biological Park.  To relax after a long day the students were taken to the Pilikula Lake Garden, the last destination.

Students enjoyed the beautiful moments and captured the fun filled memories.
