
The Annual General Body Meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association was held on 27 July 2024, in the Loyola Hall. Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions and Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association, graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his address to the parents, he emphasized the crucial role of parents in fostering a balanced and harmonious environment for the holistic development of their children.
The meeting commenced with the Vice-principal, Ms Laurel Dsouza, providing a concise overview of the proceedings from the previous year (2023-24). Following this, Ms Deepthi Sahana Karkada presented the Annual Report of the Association for the Academic year 2023-24. The Annual Financial Statement for 2023-24 was then presented by Ms Vijayalaxmi.
Gratitude was expressed to the outgoing PTEC members of 2023-24 by Ms Jevita Fernandes, while Ms Shruthi introduced the PTEC members for the year 2024-25. A floral welcome was extended to them by the Rector and the Principal.
The presidential address was delivered by Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, who enlightened the audience about the recent changes implemented by the school in alignment with CBSE guidelines, as well as the various achievements of the institution. He also appreciated the significant turnout of parents for the Annual General Meeting.
Mr Abhilash Dominic Vice-president of the PTA for the last Academic Year, highlighted the importance of trusting teachers and the Jesuit legacy to shape children into better citizens of the future. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Ms Sushmitha K S and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Aparna Suresh.
The program concluded with a group photo session of the newly elected PTEC members and was compered by Ms Vidya Esther. The event was coordinated by Vice Principals Ms Laurel Dsouza and Ms Aparna Suresh.
