The new Academic Year 2025–26 commenced on 2nd June 2025 with a formal inaugural ceremony for Classes VI to XII at St Aloysius Gonzaga School. The school warmly welcomed Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, the newly appointed Principal, with a floral greeting presented by the students.Shri Ivan D’Souza, MLC, graced the occasion and extended his best wishes toFr Rohan as he assumed his new role.
In his address, Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ encouraged students to begin the year with energy and persistence. He emphasized that success is achieved through aspiration, inspiration, and hard work. He urged the students to be disciplined, responsible, and open to learning, reminding them that a positive attitude leads to greater heights.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and an inter-religious prayer service, setting a reverent and uplifting tone for the occasion. Newly admitted students introduced themselves on stage, marking their entry into the Gonzaga family.
