The 13th Annual Day of St Aloysius Gonzaga School for Classes III to VI, themed 'Ekata - One World, One Future,' was celebrated with grandeur on 19 December, 2024. The occasion was graced by Shri Anupam Agrawal, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru, the Chief Guest, Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ Rector of St Aloysius Institutions, the President of the programme and Principal Father Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ. The Chief Guest,Shri Anupam Agrawal who is also the proud parent of Ayansh Agrawal of Class V A and Amaira Agrawal of Class IV B, in his address encouraged both parents and students to maintain a balance between academics and co-curricular activities to ensure comprehensive development. In his presidential address, Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions, advised the parents to inculcate in students, love for humanity. Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, presented the annual report of the school, highlighting the events and accomplishments of the academic year.The meritorious toppers of the Academic Year 2023-24 were awarded certificates of excellence. Additionally, two exceptional swimmers Sudipti Sunil of Class V B and Avaneesh Nayak Sujir of Class V C, who brought laurels to the school at the CBSE South Zone and National Level Swimming Championships, were felicitated for their outstanding achievements. The students presented a vibrant cultural programme which included welcome dance, song and skit highlighting the theme. Vice-principals Ms Laurel D Souza and Ms Aparna Suresh, Vice-president of Parent-Teacher Association Ms Reena Noronha, Programme coordinators Ms Anjana Kamath and Ms Divya K were the other dignitaries present. The programme was compered by an enthusiastic team: Yashika P.S of Class IV B, Zahwa Haneef of Class IV D, Kiara Rodrigues of Class IV D, Nimit Padala of Class IV D, Shrika Melanta of Class V A, Evana Cyriac of Class V B, Ashish N. Joshi of Class VI B, Kavrynne Cayden Rodrigues of Class VI B, and Praneeta Praveen Ronda of Class VI D. Ms Aparna Suresh, Vice-principal welcomed the gathering. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms Divya K.
