St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated NCC Day with great enthusiasm on 22 November 2024. The event commenced with an inspiring welcome address by Anu Jade Olivera of Class IX A, followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest, Mr K. Vijayan, Retired Petty Officer, Indian Navy, by Adil Arun of Class IX A. Mr K. Vijayan delivered an informative session on "Pathways To Join the Defence Forces" which inspired and motivated the students to consider careers in national service. Principal Fr Mewlyn Anil Lobo addressed the students and encouraged them to join Defence forces. The Chief Guest was felicitated by the Principal. In a generous gesture, the batch of 2022-23 presented a farewell gift of ?17,000 to the school's NCC unit, symbolizing their gratitude and commitment. The celebration concluded with the singing of the NCC song, leaving a spirit of patriotism and discipline resonating among the attendees. The program was compered by Risha Lasrado of Class IX C. Mr Vinod M P, coordinated the event.
