
On 1 October 2024, Class IX students participated in the Educate Magis Connected Classroom on "Global Voices for Human Rights." The session brought together students and educators from Colegio San Ignacio, Santiago de Chile, Prepa Ibero Puebla, Mexico, StIgnatius College, Chisipite, Zimbabwe, Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu, Consolation, Philippines, and St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, India. The online session began with each school introducing themselves, followed by insightful presentations on human rights violations specific to their respective countries. The participants shared diverse perspectives on the challenges they face, highlighting the unique issues each country grapples with regarding human rights. Coordinated by Ms Veena Mayekar and Ms Aparna Suresh, the session provided a valuable opportunity for students to engage in meaningful dialogue and deepen their understanding of global human rights concerns.
