Kindergarteners celebrate Deepavali

Kindergarteners celebrated Deepavali on 8 November 2024. Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo, in his address, emphasized that just as light brightens the surroundings, students should shine in their talents, qualities and abilities. The programme began with prayer song by the KG 1 students, seeking God's blessings for a bright and prosperous future. Manya Bhandarkar from KG 1 welcomed the gathering, followed by Pavish J Karkera from KG II, who shared the significance of Deepavali. Diyas were lit by the Principal, Vice-principal and Student representatives of each class. The highlight of the celebration was a lively and colorful dance performance by the KG II students, showcasing the spirit of the festival. The programme was compered by Charitha K.R and the vote of thanks was delivered by Kaelyn Antonia Dsouza from KG 1. The event was meticulously coordinated by Charitha K.R. The Deepavali celebration not only brought the school community together but also served as a wonderful reminder of the values of light, joy, and unity that the festival represents.
