St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, celebrated English Literary Week with great enthusiasm from 19 to 24 August 2024.The culmination of the week for Classes I to V was held on 28 August with a programme. A warm welcome speech was delivered by Rylan from Class IV D. Significance of the day was read by Mishti from Class IV D, followed by poem recitation, a skit, and a video presentation. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his message emphasised the importance of speaking in English among the students. He also emphasised that English speaking improves our language skills, confidence, enhance academic performance and also prepares students for the future careers. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rylan from IV D. The week-long event aimed to promote literary awareness, creativity,and love for language among students.
