
The feast of St Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated on 29 July 2024 at St Aloysius Gonzaga School. Fr Jason Martis SJ, Mangaluru was the main celebrant and Principal, Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ was the concelebrant of the Eucharistic Mass in St Aloysius Gonzaga Hall.The mass was attended by all catholic students and teachers. A cultural programme was organized for the students of Classes VI to XI on 30 July, 2024. Fr Melwyn Sunny Pinto SJ, Mangaluru was the Chief Guest of the programme.The programme commenced by invoking God's blessing through a prayer song, followed by the significance & skit, video presentation, special song, a classical dance, Go Green Culmination and awarding the SOF Zonal winners. The Chief Guest Fr Melwyn Sunny Pinto SJ, the Associate Professor and Director of Konkani Institute, Mangaluru gave message to the students to focus on three Ignatian values Magis-excellence in whatever we do, decision making and detachment.The Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo in his address highlighted upon three qualities of St'Ignatius of Loyala's - leadership, focus on goals and being humane. Ms Sushmitha K S, Ms Sheethal D'souza Ms Veena Satish Mayekar,and Ms Pavithra were the programme coordinators.
