
The Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated on 30 July 2024 by students of Classes I to V and great zeal. The Chief Guest Fr Leston Lobo SJ, Director of Loyola Pre-novitiate, Mangaluru Jesuit Educational Society in his address encouraged students to follow the footsteps of Saint Ignatius of Loyola by emulating the characteristics of a Soldier, Student, Servant and Saint to be a guiding light to all. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his message emphasised 'Magis' as the motto of going beyond to do more or greater for the upliftment of society. The programme included significance of the day by Evana Cyriac of Class V B, followed by special song, dance, drama and a video presentation on the life of St Ignatius of Loyola. On this special occasion, Junior Cabinet leaders were conferred with badges as cabinet members.
A warm welcome speech was delivered by Larina Pinto of Class V B.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rishan Shehzad Hasan of class V B.The program was conducted by class VB,IIC and IB respectively. Ms Divya K, Ms Priyaa Serrao and Ms Sushrutha were the program coordinators and Ms Asha P J was the supporting teacher. Samarth M Salian of class V B compered the program.
