On 24 August 2024, St Aloysius Gonzaga School proudly inaugurated the All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) and Christian Life Community (CLC). The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Fr Leston Lobo SJ, who delivered an inspiring address. The program commenced with a prayer song by class XI students followed by a welcome speech by Swithin from Class XI. Leisha Menezes of the Class XII efficiently served as the Master of Ceremonies, ensuring the smooth flow of the event. The inauguration highlighted the importance of faith and community among students through candle lighting and the oath-taking ceremony administered by Ms Laurel D Souza, School Vice-principal. Fr Maxima Dias, the state AICUF advisor spoke on the significance of AICUF & CLC through a videoconference. Concluding the program, Leona from the Class VIII delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The programme was coordinated by Ms Hensita D' Costa, Ms Sushmitha Rachel, Ms Beena Pais, Ms Lisa Bethilda and Mr Kiran Crasta under the guidance of the school principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ. The inauguration was a significant milestone for the school, marking a renewed commitment to spiritual and community development.
