Gonzaga Got Talent

December 16, 2021

"Every Child is unique and gifted with amazing talents .We don't have to always follow the footsteps of others. We have a responsibility to develop the talents we have been blessed with."
St Aloysius Gonzaga School always strives to nurture the inherent potential that each and every student has within themselves. Young children have an ocean of hidden talent within and they need a platform to exhibit their talents. This opportunity was provided for students of our school on 16th and 17th December, 2021 at the Gonzaga Got Talent Competition. The programme began by lighting the lamp by our Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo S.J, Vice Principal Ms Laurel Dsouza, Programme Coordinator Ms Deepa Karkada, the Judges of the competitions Mr Suhan and Ms Alina Peris, the Head Boy Rafan Ignatius Dsouza and the Head girl Jewel Isabella Cutinha.
The Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo S.J wished all the students a very best in exhibiting their talents and motivated the students with his words of encouragement. The students from Kindergarten to Class X participated actively in various events like Fancy dress, Solo dance, Solo singing, Poster Sparkle, Cardsplash, ClayArt, Craft out of newspaper, Floral symphony, Lantern Sparkle, Paint a picture, Shapes and Shades – Mandala Art, Quills Fiesta, Turncoat, Junk Treasures and Fashionista.
All the participants took the audience into their spell through their truly creative and enchanting acts. Our students prosper best with a broad curriculum that celebrates their various talents, not just a small range of them. Events like these not only help the participating students to show their abilities but also motivate other students to come forward and show their hidden potential. Judges had a brainstorming session over the neck-to-neck performances to arrive at their judgement. The events under different categories were judged by outsourced persons Mr John Chandran, Mr Suhan, Mr Praneesh Kudroli, Ms Alina Peris, Ms Sangeetha Sequeira along with our teachers Ms Shilpa Ballal, Ms Akshatha, Ms Laveena Kunder, Ms Gloria Misquith and Ms Preethan Pereira. The students dispersed with a note of positivity and encouragement to display their talents in their future events too.
