Virtual Global Christmas

December 10, 2021

Christmas is the time of joy, celebration and preparation to welcome Jesus Christ. It is also a time to reflect upon the word of God and engage ourselves in sharing and caring by exchanging wishes and gifts.
The Gonzagaites of classes VIII and IX participated in a Virtual Global Christmas celebration on Educate Magis, a worldwide Jesuit school network, on 10 December 2021. Although there were schools from different countries of South Asia and Europe, St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangalore and Campion School from Mumbai were the only two schools which participated from India. A feeling of oneness as Jesuit School was obvious while sharing the wishes in the form of poems, songs, videos and presentations.
It was a proud moment for our students to share the Christmas wishes and songs on a global platform which made them feel that the world is a global village. The program was coordinated by Ms. Aparna Suresh. The teachers Ms Gloria Misquith, Mr Stalin D Souza, Ms Vidya Esther and Ms Laveena Kunder trained the students for songs and wishes. Ms.Deepthi Karkada and Ms Shwetha Acharya arranged the video session. Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ encouraged the students and teachers with his presence during the occasion.
