Celebration of Principal's Birthday
On 2nd August 2021, the staff of St Aloysius Gonzaga School congregated with great joy and fervor to wish the Principal on his birthday. The programme commenced with a prayer by Ms Beena Pais and a prayer song led by Mr Arthur and the team. The Vice Principal, Ms Laurel D'souza extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and staff, followed by a PPT presentation that took everyone down the memory lane. The little Gonzagaites from KG extended their love and wishes through an action song. Students from Classes I to X expressed their fondness for their beloved Principal by wishing him with exhilarating messages which were shown through a video presentation.Ms Aparna Suresh extended the warmest birthday wish to the Principal on behalf of the staff. Ms Preethan Periera dedicated a special Konkani poem for the Principal. A melodious rendition by the teachers delighted the audience as much as the preceding cake cutting ceremony. Teaching and non-teaching staff presented gifts as a token of love for their dear principal.

Fr Melwin Pinto SJ, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions expressed his warm appreciation of the visionary and the mentor that Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ is, while simultaneously drawing laughs at his amiable way of delivering speeches. The Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, was overwhelmed with joy for the wonderful celebration of his birthday. He also appreciated all the staff members for their integrity, expressed his gratitude to all who have brought joy and meaning to his life, and making this day special and a memorable one.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Sandhya Manoj. The programme was compered by Ms Laveena Kunder. Thereafter the staff gathered for a high tea with the dignitaries.
