INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2022-23

The eagerly awaited ‘Investiture Ceremony’ for the Academic Year 2022-23 was held on 14July 2022, in the Gonzaga Hall. Mr Simon C A, Superintendent of Police of Anti-Corruption Bureau – Western Range, was the Chief Guest forthe ceremony.

The event began with a formal procession of the new council members, led by the Principal Father Mewlyn Anil Lobo, Vice Principal Ms Laurel D Souza and the Chief Guest, followed by the school Head Boy Aaron Dsouza and the Head Girl Hanaan Fathima Habeeb of class X. After the procession the school choir led the gathering into prayer which was followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and the Head Boy and the Head Girl along with the Council Mistresses. The Chief Guest, Principal and Vice Principal then installed the young cabinet members in office by conferringwith sashes and badges. The Principal administered the oath taking ceremony.

The Chief Guest Mr Simon C A congratulated the young leaders. In his address he motivated the students through the inspiring words saying, “Actual leadership is not leading from the forefront, but is an opportunity to analyse oneself and take up the challenges without hesitation”.

The Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo complimented and appreciated the new elected leaders. He expressed his views on leadership and emphasized on being a great leader and to have courage to fulfil his vision through his passion, not from position.

Council Mistresses Ms Preethan Pereira welcomed the gathering and Ms Jisha V Thomas proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Vidya Esther & Ms Sandhya Manoj compered the programme. It was concluded with the School Anthem.
