A JOYOUS CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION AT ST ALOYSIUS GONZAGA SCHOOL
"Children are the treasure of our Nation. It is our duty to nurture the children in a right path." said the Principal, Father Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his message on the occasion of Children's Day celebration, on 15 November 2021. He urged the students to take inspiration of Chacha Nehru and inculcate scientific temper besides growing in humane qualities to become great persons in their life.
To cheer up the students and make their day memorable, teachers presented a series of entertaining events like song, fashion show, dance and mimicry act. It was quite an exciting moment for students to watch their Principal and teachers performing on stage. The school head boy Rafan Ignatius Dsouza and the head girl Jewel Isabell Cutinha were the chief guests of the programme and expressed their views on children's day saying childhood is the best phase in one's life and students should make use of every opportunity that they get in the school. Ms. Sandhya Manoj explained the significance of the day. Ms. Bhindia Dsouza welcomed the gathering, Ms. Aquina Rebello compered the programme and Ms Aparna Suresh proposed the vote of thanks. The Vice Principal Ms Laurel D Souza and the Parent teacher executive committee members were present on the occasion. Sweets were distributed to enhance the joy of students.
