German Visitors in St Aloysius Gonzaga School

St Aloysius Gonzaga School had the privilege of German visitors Ms Martina Martens along with her beautiful daughter Maura, from Berlin, visiting the school, on 16th June 2022.They were welcomed with a splendid classical welcome dance by the students of Class VI.  The visitors watched a presentation on International collaboration taken up by the school, since 2012. Ms Martina and her daughter Ms Maura interacted with students of class VI A, B and C, answering their curious questions about Germany, and German culture. Dr Leo D Souza, Director of Bio technology department, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo and the Vice-principal Ms Laurel D'Souza were the dignitaries present on this occasion. Principal Fr Melwyn briefed about the International Collaboration projects taken up by the school in different platforms including British Council, Educate Magis and individual schools, from the time of inception year 2012.  Addressing the students, Fr Leo said, “International Collaboration helps to know each other and enhances the overall development of students.” Ms Martina Martens appreciated the efforts taken by the school towards collaborative projects and expressed her eagerness to have collaborative projects of German schools with St Aloysius Gonzaga School in the coming days.

Sidhi Dinesh Shetty VI B and John William Tauro of class VI C shared their experiences of participating in the collaborative projects with the Italian school, Istituto Leone XIII. 

Mark Aryan Noronha of class VI C welcomed the gathering and Punya Uday Shenoy of class VI C proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Diva Ananth Pai of class VI C compered the program. The programme was coordinated by Ms Aparna Suresh, co-ordinator for international collaboration.
