St Aloysius Gonzaga School, reopened for the new Academic Year 2022-23 on the 1^st of June, 2022 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Principal Fr. Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ addressed the students and instructed them to follow the rules and regulations. He emphasized on the importance of aiming for academic excellence and to treasure and embrace the good values taught at school.<br>

The school was fully decorated to welcome the students after a long gap of 2 years due to the pandemic. At the school entrance the Principal, Vice-principal and teachers welcomed the students. The day began with a school assembly in the auditorium. An inter-religious prayer was organized which was coordinated by Ms Deepa Karkada. This was followed by lighting the lamp, signifying the new beginning. The teachers introduced themselves to the gathering. It was a proud moment for the newly joined students as they came forward on to the dais and introduced themselves!  While the choir group was singing the “Thank you teachers” song, the students from the previous Academic Year were symbolically handed over to their new class teachers.  The assembly ended with the school anthem. Ms Vidya Esther compered the program. Students were let off during noon, after distribution of sweets.
