Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony 2021-2022

"Graduation is a time to celebrate new beginnings and say goodbye to everything that has given you a reason to smile. It is warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future".
29 March 2022 marked the beginning of a formal system of schooling in the life of the little Gonzagites, as the school celebrated the Graduation day of our Kindergarten students.
The smart tiny tots of KG - ll dressed in graduation robes and caps marched in a row, along with the Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, Vice Principal Ms Laurel D'Souza, Rector Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, Chief Guest Lion M Kavitha S Shastri, KG Co-ordinator Ms Aparna Suresh and KG teachers Ms Veronica D Souza and Ms Averyl Rebello.
The programme began by invoking God's blessings which was prayerfully done by the KG - ll kids singing the song "All things bright and beautiful" followed by a welcome address by the KG Co-ordinator Ms Aparna Suresh.
Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ presented the little graduates who have completed the two-year Kindergarten programme, which was followed by the conferring of the graduation title by our Rector Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ. The dignitaries felicitated the students with Mementoes and Certificate of Graduation. Their smiling faces were welcomed by rapturous applause from the audience as they received scrolls of merit on the dais. The pledge of the graduated class was then administered by the Principal. All 72 graduates sang a melodious song "It's a beautiful day" which left a smile on the face of the audience. Miss Riana Francia David and Master Ashan G Kundar shared their experience of being a Gonzagite from day one of their preschool years. Parents, Ms Karen Trescilla Saldanha, M/o Master Kian Michael Saldanha and Dr Rashmi Ananth Pai, M/o Dhvani Ananth Pai shared their experiences with the school.
M Kavitha S Shastri, the chief guest of the day addressed the gathering and gave tips on good parenting. Her advice to parents was to love the child, spend quality time talking to the child and try to nurture any one particular skill in the child. Rector Fr Melwin Pinto SJ delivered the presidential address and said that while communicating with a child, listening to the child's talk is another important thing a parent has to do. The Principal congratulated these little graduates who were ready to move on to explore and accomplish yet another milestone in their lives.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Veronica D'Souza and the graduation ceremony was compered by Ms Gloria Misquith. The programme was concluded by singing the National Anthem. Refreshments were served at the end of the programme.
