Staff Tour

Picnics are always fun and when the management organizes a picnic, especially a long tour to a tourist place, it becomes more fun. St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized a 5-day Staff tour to the city of pearls-Hyderabad. Around 60 staff members including the Principal and Vice-principal were part of this tour which commenced on 17 April and ended on 22 April 2023.

After reaching Kachiguda, the real fun started on the morning of 18 April with visiting the Centenary Methodist Church on chapel road followed by a visit to St. Joseph Cathedral belonging to Roman Catholic. Next, the staff were taken to Salrarjung Museum which is situated on the southern banks of the Musi River and is the third largest museum of India. Post lunch they visited Snow World and NTR Park where the team captured most of the great moments.

The first day was ended by the side of nature at Lumbini Park situated quite close to the famous standing statue of Lord Buddha and Hussain Sagar Lake. The laser show at the park was the main attraction which was enjoyed by everyone.

The next day on 19 April, the team visited the famous Ramoji City, the world’s largest film studio complex and explored the Film city and most of its magical realm filled with excitement and surprises. On the last day 20 April, the staff were taken around the city, to the significant landmarks of Hyderabad, the Birla Temple, Char Minar, Golkonda fort, Nehru Zoological Park, Sudha Car Museum and the day ended at Koti Bazar with shopping and fun. 

The staff enjoyed the journey, sumptuous food, stay and the places at the City of Pearls The staff thanked Principal Fr Mewlyn Anil Lobo SJ and the management for organizing this memorable trip which was much needed and well spent with positivity, sweet memories and strong bonding between the staff.

The tour was organized by Namaste Travels and coordinated by Ms Sandhya Manoj with the assistance of Ms Bhindia D’Souza.
