To spread awareness on media literacy, a training programme on the theme “Know the Source, Not the Hoax” was organised for students of classes X and XII on 13 April 2023. It was organised by the students of I year BA (Honours) Media & Communication, Nitte Institute of Communication as part of their assignment in the subject, Environmental and Development Communication.
Resource person Mr Aditya Shetty, Counsellor & Lecturer in Psychology, Nitte Deemed to be University conducted a session on the importance and need to be media literate. The talk was followed by a question & answer session and a quiz for the students.
